We are so happy to welcome the new addition to our classroom... The ACTIVEBOARD! We are so lucky to have this board in our classroom. Let me tell you a little bit about it. It is the new digital whiteboard. It is basically like a huge screen to my computer. I have been going to trainings for it, and have learned some really awesome stuff. The kids are super excited and we have been using it everyday. We are doing some cool stuff with plants and today I took this picture of the kids using it to work on compound words.
You are able to hold a stylus (like a DS) to move objects on the screen. I just can't believe how much of a technology world these kids are growing up in! They keep helping me out on how to do things! It has been a fun adventure that we are learning together.
The sales rep. told me that out of our state, our district is moving the fastest forward with the technology. Way to go us! Principal Massey says that soon every classroom will have one!
